My practice as a sports lawyer encompasses advisory, drafting and advocacy work on behalf of both sporting organisations and athletes across a broad range of sports law matters. I have particular expertise in regulatory and disciplinary proceedings, including advising on governance and compliance issues, drafting rules, policies and written submissions, and representing parties before disciplinary, appeals and other specialist tribunals. This dual perspective enables me to understand the distinct interests of governing bodies and participants and to provide practical, balanced and strategically focused advice.
What sort of work do I do?
My practice in England & Wales and in Ireland encompasses personal injuries, regulatory and sports law. I act for parties in personal injuries litigation, providing advice and representation at all stages of proceedings. My regulatory practice includes advisory, drafting and advocacy work for professional bodies in disciplinary and compliance matters. In sports law, I represent national governing bodies and athletes across many areas including selection disputes and disciplinary proceedings.
