Direct Access Barrister

Bryan Patterson-Whitaker

Northern-based business and property barrister, with 11 years experience in the field. Prior to coming to the Bar, I enjoyed a 20+ year career in the property development industry, giving me a particular advantage in this area of law.

I regularly deal with landlord and tenant litigation, disputes over the ownership and transfer of land, boundaries, rights of way, trees and hedges, trespass and nuisance claims, insolvency and debt, consumer credit and contract & commercial litigation. I deal with a considerable number of property-related professional negligence cases. I also have an interest in shareholder and partnership disputes.

*Due to existing work commitments, I generally need at least 14-21 days notice to draft documents or represent clients at hearings. If you think you may need my services, please contact me asap to confirm capacity / availability / pricing. Most of my Court-based work is in the North of England, but I am prepared to travel for interesting cases / appeals .
