With many years of trial and appeal work under my belt, I bring this experience and judgement to bear on every case I undertake. Recognised as a leading heavyweight silk, with a practice based
largely at the Old Bailey, I am instructed in many of the highest profile and most challenging cases that come before the courts.

My practice, though focused in recent years on murder and terrorism, also takes in financial crime and sexual offences, and related appeals.

What sort of work do I do?

I am involved in both trial and appeal work. Generally, Crown Court trials will not be suitable for Direct Access, but summary trials may be. Appeals and CCRC references are the most suitable matters for me to take on on a Direct Access basis. I have expertise in dealing with cases involving DNA and other complex forensic evidence.
