I am Edmund Body, and I deal with a range of disputes including commercial matters, construction problems, professional negligence, and personal injury cases. My approach is straightforward: understand the issue, give clear advice, and help clients resolve their case as effectively as possible.

Edmund is described by others as a natural advocate and has spent a significant amount of practice in court. He is well placed to advise on complicated matters, whether complicated by the law or facts. He is commercially minded and pragmatically looks to resolve disputes where possible. I act for large construction companies including some of the largest homebuilders in the country. I also regularly work for subcontractors and homeowners.
I can assist you with legal advice about your construction problem whether it’s taking the case to court or resolving it by alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration.
I advise on drafting contracts for construction projects which includes the standard terms and adjustment to standard terms. Whether the contract is niche or based on a standard contract such as JCT and NEC.

Personal Injury

Edmund has vast experience in personal injury cases. Representing both claimants and defendants. He is able to advise at an early stage and is effective at resolving disputes efficiently. So whether it is personal injury arising from employment, road traffic accidents, holiday sickness claims or something more niche he is well placed to assist.

Professional Negligence

I advise and represent clients in professional negligent cases which includes; solicitors and other lawyers across all legal disciplines I also act in actions against Construction professionals.

Property

Edmund advises and represent clients in property disputes from property damage to construction disputes.
