What sort of work do I do?

I accept direct access instructions in criminal law, regulatory offences, public law, and licensing matters. I advise and represent clients in magistrates’ and Crown Court proceedings, licensing hearings, and judicial review applications.

I handle criminal offences including assault, fraud, road traffic, and public order matters, as well as trading standards, environmental prosecutions, and breach of statutory duties. I advise on enforcement decisions, professional regulation, and licensing disputes involving local authorities.

My work includes legal advice, document drafting, advocacy, and appeals. I act for those defending allegations and those challenging or responding to decisions by public bodies.

Who do I work for?

I work with private individuals, businesses, and public officials facing investigation, prosecution, or regulatory enforcement. My clients include defendants in criminal cases, licence holders, traders, landlords, and those bringing or responding to judicial review proceedings.

I also assist public bodies seeking advice on public law, prosecutions, licencing and regulatory enforcement. Clients value my insight into public authority procedures and my ability to explain legal matters clearly and efficiently.
