I specialise in construction/building disputes and have over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. As well as a practising Barrister, I am also a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. After nearly 20 years as a contractor’s QS and a construction claims expert, I was called to the Bar in 2008.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (FCInstCES).

I am also a RICS Accredited Mediator and a TECBAR accredited Adjudicator.

I have experience of matters relating to, amongst other things: building/engineering disputes; residential/domestic building disputes; defective work; delay/extension of time matters; loss and expense; liquidated damages; final account matters; certification issues; disruption claims; professional negligence; negligence and nuisance claims.
