Direct Access Barrister

Keane Davison

Keane is a Commercial, Employment and Sports Barrister who combines his previous in-house experience at a global bank with his current practice helping clients to obtain results. He can assist with all stages of proceedings from initial merits assessments, through to final hearings.

Keane has appeared as counsel in the County Court, High Court and various Tribunals, supporting clients across a broad range of industries. He was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2020 and subsequently to the Bar of England and Wales in 2023. He is known for his ability to give commercially realistic advice and identify the core issues of a case, to bring it to completion.

Before returning to private practice, Keane worked at a global, tier 1 investment bank as an in-house Barrister. This provides him with a unique perspective, particularly for his commercial clients, in understanding the commercial and business risks and opportunities for those who instruct him (both as a Claimant or Defendant/Respondent). He is passionate about providing his clients with 'real world' solutions in the legal context in which they find themselves. He is also a school Governor and National Panel Rugby Referee.
