I have been a barrister since 1986, regularly working directly with clients since 2006. I am also a qualified mediator. I am a member of Thomas More Chambers. Outside the Bar, I was the planning director of a property development company & remain involved with my own property development.

Planning and Environmental
I am instructed in development ranging from residential matters (from one-off to estate schemes) through to commercial/industrial sites (such as retail, office, leisure and hotel projects) as well as traveller cases. I appear at public inquiries and hearings on planning and enforcement appeals as well as development plan examinations; and act in both the criminal and civil courts in relation to planning law cases.
Property
I deal with all land law disputes including between neighbours as well as those arising from property development. I cover issues involving boundaries, rights of way, trespass and nuisance, Party Wall Act, restrictive covenants, hedgerows, high hedges and trees, and connected matters reviewing local authorities’ conduct.
What sort of work do I do?
I specialise in planning & land law including judicial review. I appear in court & tribunals as well as mediations. I cover all aspects of land development, boundary disputes, rights of way, Party Wall Act, trespass & nuisance, restrictive covenants, hedges & trees.
