Louis accepts instructions across all areas of revenue law, as well as in other matters with a substantive tax element. His practice at Pump Court Tax Chambers covers contentious and non-contentious matters, including personal tax, corporate tax, VAT, stamp taxes, international tax, trusts issues and judicial review.

In addition to his practice at the Bar, Louis has taught taxation law and supported various research projects at the University of Oxford and King’s College London. He won the Vinerian Scholarship for best performance on the Bachelor of Civil Law degree at the University of Oxford, the Eldon Scholarship, and the Jelf Medal for the most distinguished undergraduate performance at King's College London. His articles have appeared in Tax Journal, the British Tax Review, and Public Law.
