I was called to the English bar in 2013 having had a long career as a London solicitor dealing with civil litigation, dispute resolution, non-contentious tax, company, property and trusts.

I am also a New Zealand qualified and currently practicing and regulated barrister and have had recent experience appearing as an a direct access barrister in the New Zealand High Court and District Court in civil matters.

What sort of work do I do?

My work as a direct access barrister is varied but what interests me the most are trust, company and insolvency disputes.

I advise and represent directors and shareholders in disputes including shareholder unfair trading and company insolvency issues.

Who do I work for?

I work for individuals, families, companies, trusts and the accountants of companies and groups of companies wanting tax and asset structuring advice.

I act for individuals to resolve disputes between trustees and beneficiaries of trusts, between liquidators and company directors. See recent cases: ; Vale Court Freehold Ltd v Carey-Morgan and others, declaring a related party lease void.
