Direct Access Barrister
Miriam Shalom
I am based in London and I deal with trusts of land, probate, property and Inheritance Act claims.
I have acted for a wide range of clients, and aim to be approachable and seek to put my clients at ease while also providing objective advice and guidance.
I have worked with a number of direct access clients and helped them to achieve positive outcomes.
What sort of work do I do?
I was involved in the House of Lord case of Stack v Dowden and since then
I have been involved in many cases where issues such as whether there is a trust, what is the nature of the trust and what should happen to any trust property are in question
I have acted for clients in relation to disputes about estates, claims for provision under the Inheritance Act and actions to remove executors and administrators. I have achieved a number of successful outcomes both through taking matters to trial or negotiating a settlement with the other parties.
I also deal with cases concerning residential and commercial property and other property related issues.
Who do I work for?
My clients are private individuals and business, solicitors, trustees, executors beneficiaries landlords and tenants.
