Matrimonial finance arising upon divorce and separation has been Neil's primary area of specialism for over 20 years. Neil has a long established practice, particularly across Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset and London. Neil's work in family finance also extends to cohabitation disputes and third party intervenors.
Neil also specialises in other areas of family law, in particular private law children matters, acting for parents and grandparents. He also has considerable experience in Family Law Act 1996 applications. Neil is very well respected amongst solicitors and judges.
Neil has been consistently ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for many years. The Legal 500 2026 edition describes him as a Leading Junior who is "meticulous and proactive, and offers tailored and pragmatic advice to clients."
Neil graduated with a First Class degree in Law and went to complete the BCL at Oxford University.
Neil is also a qualified Financial Arbitrator and is a Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
