Peter Binder

Noted for his ‘eloquent, elegant and imaginative’ advocacy, Peter has over 30 years’ experience at the Criminal Bar, most of it spent in London where he regularly appeared in the capital’s high profile cases. He re-located to the West Country in 2016 and now practises predominantly in Bristol.

Highly experienced in all areas of Criminal Law and Procedure, I pride myself on providing a consummate professional service to all my clients, with particular experience in representing those charged with high level financial crime, drug trafficking and serious violent and sexual offences.

Primarily Crown Court and Appellate advocacy, although I occasionally appear in Courts Martial and regulatory proceedings.

Who do I work for?

I am a firm believer in the Bar's 'cab rank' rule and as such am willing to take on the defence of anyone charged with a criminal offence provided circumstances are such that I am free to do so.
