I am a barrister specialising in family law and court of protection cases. I have been in practise for over twenty years. My work practice is hybrid, working in the central London area or remote hearings by CVP / MS Teams / Zoom. I am not currently attending court hearings outside the Central London area, unless the hearing is remote / online.

What sort of work do I do?

I specialise in private law disputes about children, divorce and financial settlement between parties. I also deal with complex care proceedings where there are allegations of non-accidental injuries and sexual abuse, child abduction, forced marriage, injunctions. I represent clients in the Court of Protection dealing with health and welfare cases. I am able to assist with joint mediations and collaborative law work.

Who do I work for?

My clients are parents, grandparents or extended family members, local authorities, children's guardians and the official solicitor. I have represented clients with learning and/or mental health difficulties. I speak conversational Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
