Renata was initially called to the Bar in 1999. She cross qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and practised in Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire having a mixed practice which included personal injury, housing, civil and commercial litigation, employment and contentious probate. Renata commenced working at the self employed Bar in August 2021.

Renata worked in-house as a Solicitor and during her time there gained a wide range of expertise and experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts - including re-drafting standard terms and conditions of sale and drafting non-disclosure agreements.
Renata’s work also involved dealing with commercial contracts disputes.
Additionally, she has experience in dealing with commercial property matters including drafting of leases/licenses and disputes including forfeiture.
Landlord and Tenant
Renata has a wide range of experience when dealing with landlord and tenants disputes. As a Solicitor, Renata was responsible for the implementation of the County Court Duty Possession scheme in Mansfield County Court. She now regularly represents both landlord and tenants in residential matters including possession actions, disrepair and matters involving applications for injunctive relief.
Wills and Probate
Renata has experience in dealing with contentious probate matters including inheritance act claims and challenges to the validity of wills.
