Samantha was called in 2008 and has exceptional knowledge and skill when dealing with cases in family law. She has crafted herself an excellent reputation within children law matters as a specialist in her field, although earlier on in her career she used to practice in matrimonial finance so she has a well rounded knowledge of all aspects of Family Law.
She accepts instructions on a direct access basis for both private and public law children work.
What sort of work do I do?
Private Law children work including:-
* Child Arrangement Order applications including prohibited steps and specific issue applications [Orders that the Court may make after determining where the children will live, whom they spend time with and if there are any restrictions required to ensure their welfare needs are met]
* Non-molestation Injunctions [Ensuring clients are protected by Court order from harassment or abuse].
* Relocation cases.
* Cases involving finding of fact elements regarding allegations of sexual / physical or emotional abuse.
* Modern family disputes.
Public law children work includes:-
* serious non-accidental injury cases (fractures / baby shakes / infant death);
* fabricated or induced illness;
* sexual abuse (including interfamilial abuse and rape)
* child trafficking / grooming / CSE;
* Deprivation of Liberty / Secure Accommodation Orders;
* Chronic neglect, emotional and psychological abuse;
* Drugs and alcohol abuse;
* Neuro diversity / learning needs / disabilities;
Who do I work for?
Samantha acts on behalf of local authorities, parents, children's guardian's, competent children, wider family members, and intervenors in a wide range of cases, detailed within the area of work she deals with.
