I advise and represent people who have been seriously injured or bereaved through the fault of others to help them recover damages or other compensation, particularly in difficult cases which others may have rejected. I can advise on who might be to blame, how to proceed, overcoming time limits, and can prepare relevant documents needed to bring a claim, as well as appearing in court or conducting settlement negotiations. I act for bereaved families at inquests to enable them fully to participate and to ask the questions of experts, police or other witnesses which they want answers to. He acts for licensed operators of goods vehicles and buses in relation to proceedings before the Traffic Commissioner and on appeal to the Upper Tribunal. I represent persons refused or deprived of a firearms licence in proceedings in the Crown Court.

Health and Safety, including Product Liability
I hold a post-graduate Diploma in Health and Safety Law. I have dealt with prosecutions under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 following accidents including fatalities, under road traffic legislation in respect of road transport, environmental health and product liability offences.
Licensing
Advising and representing licenced operators, directors, transport managers and drivers in Public Inquiries and on appeal in the Upper Tribunal (formerly transport tribunal) and Court of Appeal. Acting for both prosecution and defence in complex tachograph fraud MOT fraud and related cases. Representing applicants in the Crown Court seeking to challenge Police decisions over refusal to grant, impose restrictions on or to revoke a personal firearms licence and/or the seizure of licensed firearms.
Personal Injury
30 years experience in high value and multi-party catastrophic injury and fatality claims in the High Court, County Court and on Appeal (ranging from £25,000 - £10m+) including spinal injury, traumatic brain injury, complex multiple injuries (polytrauma) severe psychological effects, limb loss, scarring, damage to senses, chronic pain, and involving complex treatment, care and rehabilitation claims.
What sort of work do I do?
I will advise on factual, legal, procedural and tactical issues to bring a successful claim; drawing up letters of claim, applications and forms, statements and other documents to be submitted by clients to opponents or a court/tribunal. I will attend to represent clients at preliminary hearings, trials, inquests and appeals, and undertake negotiations/mediations with opposing parties at all stages of proceedings.
Who do I work for?
My direct access clients are typically injured claimants and the parents, spouses and partners or relatives of those incapacitated, injured or killed, or their dependants. Also individuals, property owners and small business proprietors and directors pursued personally, or being required to appear at proceedings such as licensing hearings or at public inquiry, inquests, or on appeals.
