Called to the Bar by Inner Temple in 2016

I completed my law degree at the University of Exeter and the BPTC at the University of Law.
Prior to working as a barrister, I worked as a paralegal, gaining experience in various practice areas including international commercial litigation involving high value disputes, crime and family. I also volunteered as a tribunal representative through IPSEA, supporting and representing parents of children with Special Educational Needs.

Area of Law

Family

I act in all areas of family law and have experience of working with vulnerable clients, cases with an international element and high value assets. I also have experience in claims under TLATA.

Human Rights

I have experience of cases involving human rights breaches, including unlawful detention claims and claims under the Equality Act 2010.

Property

I regularly provide advice, drafting and representation in claims under TOLATA, as well as claims relating to boundary disputes, sale of property, leasehold disputes, service charges, adverse possession, easements, enfranchisement, trespass and nuisance.

Wills and Probate

I have experience in contentious probate matters, providing advice and representation in relation to the validity of wills, will trusts, removal of executors and estate mismanagement. I also welcome work in respect of claims for financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, having gained regular experience of providing advice and representation in this area, including by way of mediation.
